Steps back and forward.
So I hope you guys don’t mind me adding quotes. I been adding them lately and I probably continue placing them up here indefinitely.
I’m trying to make this blog as interactive as possible. I also want to share my creative process with you guys. So maybe one day, you’ll see a quote and maybe at some point you’ll see a story that goes along with it. Since when I write short stories, I normally start out with a feeling I’m trying to convey and usually the first thing that comes to mind is a quote or a simple line. From there, a story comes alive. Truth the of the matter is, when someone says “I love you.” It is culmination of events, feelings, and people that lead up that moment that made it so significant. I just apply that to the quotes that pop into my head or things I read recently. I find the reason why they would say this or I start imaging scenarios where this quote could apply. This is usually the start of my creative process.
On the last note, I’ll be experimenting with a few different genres of writing in the next few entries I hope you guys will enjoy. Most of the my stories have a realistic feel to it, I’m experimenting with fantasy, sci-fi, and other stuff. Hopefully it can all come together.
